素材はウール１００％。速乾をうたう化学繊維ではありませんが、
これまでのサイクリング＆ツーリングの経験上、
ウールで問題あるかっていうと、
特に問題に感じたことはありません。寒いときも、
すこし暑くて、汗をかいたときも。
自転車に乗った後に、
普通の生活にもどるときも。
Made of 100% wool. It's not a fast wicking high tech fabric,
but from our experience of cycling & touring, wool is not
so bad to use as cycle jersey. In cold time,
little warm & sweaty days, and
in occations you had to merge into the society right after
riding bike.
そもそもウールは、自転車ウェア用の素材として、
長い間、使われてきました。
それが、化学繊維技術が進化していくなかで、
『スポーツでの一番の問題とは、水分＝汗問題なり！』
という命題至上主義となり、化学繊維の性能一直線の部分に、
食われてしまったいう。
Wool has been a long time cycle jersey fabric.
It's majority has started to fall with the
progress of the man-mad fabric technology of thinking
"The biggest problem in sporting is the moisture problem".
This propositional goal made man-made fabric win, on the
quick wicking point of view.
でも、べつに、ボクらレベルで自転車遊びをしていく上では、
ウールでも、とくに、問題ないんですけどね。
むしろ、天然素材というところに注目してます。
Even though, in our city and touring bike life,
wearing wool is not a big problem.
More then that, we like it and chose it because
it is natural fabric, given from the earth.
最近では、アウトドアウェア業界でも、
天然速乾素材・ウールの性能を
見直す傾向にあるみたいですよ。
Nowadays, it says that the outdoor wear brands
tend to have another look on wool,
as a natural wicking fabric for sports.
で、失われた、という意味では、
昔のサイクルジャージにはよくついていたのに、
いまはすっかり見なくなった、
前のポケットを、復刻させてみました。
Then, in the meaning of lost,
we have revised the front pocket on chest
which has been lost on latest cycle jerseys.
今、サイクルジャージに前ポケットがないのは、
ポケットのあるべき場所は、メインスポンサーのロゴが
入るべき部分だからかな。あと、レースという極限状態では、
前ポケットにバナナなんて、いれませんからね。
The reason of not having pockets on chest is
that the chest area is taken for your sponcer at large.
And of course the severe situation like racing,
you would not want to carry bananas in you pocket, right?
でも、ボタンシャツの胸元のポケットと同じく、
胸のあたりにポケットがあると、とても、使いやすい。
Although, the fron pocket is very useful as a
chest pockets on buttoned shirt.
また、後ろ側にも、きちんと、ポケットがついてますよ。
No problem. There is usual pockets on back too.
そして、今どきのウールなので、
自宅で、手洗いできます。
And. For it is now wool,
you could hand wash them.
そしてもう一つ。今どきのウールなので、
素肌の上に着ても、ちくちくしません。
And another. For it is now wool,
does not feel itchy on skin top.
